Performing with a core trio featuring Phil Van Scotter on guitar and Pete Jacobs on bass — and often joined by a rotating collective of flutists, percussionists, and other kindred spirits — Freyja’s concerts feel both intimate and expansive, inviting listeners into a realm where beauty, rhythm, and wildness coexist.
The music blends Celtic-inspired originals, Middle Eastern-tinged rhythms, atmospheric textures, and rich vocal harmonies, often woven with the sounds of the natural world.
