Freyja Wild & The Gathering Storm is a dynamic, six piece acoustic ensemble that plays Celtic inspired originals with a touch of middle eastern flavor. Freyja’s songs invoke a world of ancient Celtic magic and wonder with haunting melodies, lush vocal harmonies, harp, flute and primal drums woven with sounds from Nature’s wild.
With some of Colorado’s most versatile and accomplished musicians, the band’s sound is an exotic blend of old world traditions and modern influences culminating in music that is creative and inventive. The songs are masterfully crafted, and range from intimate reveries that will touch your soul to driving polyrhythms with funky bass lines that will lift you to your dancing feet.
Peppered with unique interpretations of feel-good songs by Steve Winwood, Annie Lennox, Rush, and Primal Scream to name a few, Freyja Wild & The Gathering Storm will take you on a musical journey that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired.
